LADIES PLEASE WAKE UP

Recent incident of rape of a girl at Delhi jolted all the Indians. People are out to express their anger against the government authorities, people are demanding the death penalty against the rapists. As a common citizen of this country I am also in shock for we all do have our female folk venturing out in our cities for various purposes, education, job etc. We are not here to seek the reasons of this ghastly incident but since there are some of things going on in our society which are not said to be healthy and in so many cases out own womenfolk are responsible for their degeneration. Now a days image of the ladies which is being aired on several channels and in movies is false. So many objectionable advertisements are being aired and only  makers of such ads are not responsible, the models working in such ads are equally guilty for they are becoming the party of such things. They have all the rights to adopt any profession of their choice but I think presenting themselves as the "commodity" is wrong.

A new kind of exploitation is taking place and with the will and wish of our own womenfolk. Just for the sake of earning easy money they become agree to let the people use their bodies in the wrong ways. You can only stop these things, there will be people ready to take your advantage, but you have to decide you want it or not. Several ads specially of the body spray what kind of image these ads are creating in the minds of our younger generation that you apply this product and then girls would be after you. Then there are several movies in which it is shown that hero is after the lady and after some pranks she is shown to be accepting his proposal.

Therefore, whatever is happening in the society each and everyone of us is equally responsible. I call upon the younger generation not to fall prey to these market forces they are here to sell their product at the cost of our morality and culture. So time to wake up and do our bit to bring some sort of morality in our society.

Dear All,

I have seen in many offices people are in the habit of spitting in the dustbins which are meant for throwing the papers and other official waste, but see the callous attitude of people so called educated and learned just doing what they are not suppose to do. I think being the change makers today we all must take this resolve not do such things and also pls stop the people if they are junior to you from doing these things. Just imagine the plight of the fellow human being who comes to empty this dustbin what he must be thinking. Give it a thought and fight for the human dignity.

LOST CHILDREN AND GOVT AUTHORITIES

It was heartening to know the recovery of the lost small girl who was abducted by a person from Mumbai railway station and the lucky girl was rescued from Haridwar. Thanks to the media to highlight the issue and the prompt action taken by the policemen on duty at Haridwar railway station.  It was an example of a good done by several agencies altogether which made it possible to look for the girl and her safe journey to her mother.

But how many such children who are misplaced and never united with their families. I think authorities can play a positive role in re-uniting these children to their families if they wishes to do so. As a common citizen we all come across so many children begging on all the crossroads in all the cities. Why these children are there when they should have been to the schools run by the govt then why they are being made to beg. Who are the people sending them to beg our Police authorities know better or they do not want to know.  A surprise check should be conducted checking the whereabouts of these children and their so called parents. I believe so many children would be rescued if our authorities wake up and start rounding up all these people. Please do something soon so that many more children could be re-united with their families.

A HUMBLE LETTER TO ALL HUMAN BEINGS ONBEHALF OF ALL THE ANIMALS

Dear Homo Sapiens,

We are also sharing this beautiful planet called Earth alongwith you all.  I hope you all keep this in mind that alongwith you all we have also given rights to live on this planet.  You are keen to develop and everywhere there is a mad race to develop so many humble things.  There used to be forests everywhere, rivers full of water and plenty of food for everyone to eat.  But due to sudden rise in your numbers you have started to trespass in our territory and in this process we lost our natural habitat.

Dear human beings whatever scientific progress you have made it has not benefited to any other species which are also dwelling on this planet what ever you have done be it in the field of medicine, science, transportation, communication, housing you name it and each and every development was just for you own sake.  We were never included in your plans of development.  With rapid development you have made in medicine you have increased the average age of your own fold and also you have increased your own numbers and result is is to be seen everywhere it is you who is to be seen and our numbers are fast diminishing as if we do not have any right on this planet.

Now you are claiming to search for the God particle also but tell us what use we may have for this search for which you have spent a huge amount. Again with each and every research you are just making you own life comfortable and we are nowhere to be seen in your idea of development.

So I am here to make a humble request to you all please spare some time for us also and include us in your plans of development.  May be this way we could also help you in some way.

NO RESERVATION FOR EX-SERVICEMEN IN CENTRAL GROUP A AND B POSTS

Dear All,

I take this opportunity to invite your attention to this burning issue concerning to all of us.  I would like to draw your attention towards the reservation policies of the central govt.  As per the current policies we are entitled to get reservation only in Grp C and D posts and not in Grp A and B posts.  I think now is the high time to seek a change in these archaic rules.  Gone are the days when a Jawan used to join defence forces after passing class 10th and used to leave the service with the same qualification and was awarded the Graduation equal certificate by the concerned records office.  

But now the times are changing so many of our counterparts have acquired the higher degrees which make them eligible to apply for the Grp A and B posts in central govt. I give my own example I have completed my MA in 4 subjects, B.Ed, MBA (HR) and 02 PG diplomas.  By virtue of scoring more than 55 % marks in my MA, I am eligible to apply for so many posts being advertised by UPSC concerning to Group A and B but see the irony I will not stand to get any reservation benefit if at all I wishes to apply for these posts.  They only consider us fit for Group C and D posts even if we are highly qualified also.  I think we should get together and fight for our right and raise this burning issue at the highest possible level so that in future our brethren leaving the services are considered for the higher posts. Please give this letter a wide publicity through this wonderful medium.

SMART WAY TO SAVE PETROL

With the increase in the prices of fuel here are some suggestions for the authorities if they care to listen. 

Issue of Smart Card to buy Fuel : I feel that from now onwards at the time of purchase of any new vehicle the owners should be issued with a smart card to purchase the fuel from the patrol pumps.  They can devise some ways to ascertain the quota an individual may be authorised per month. If people would have this quota system in mind they would be thinking to save their quota for future urgent needs.  This way we can really witness a change in the driving pattern of the people.  Now many people with all money in their hands do not give a damn to consume the fuel because they think once they can purchase the thing why not to use it as per their own choice.  Patrol should be sold on the pumps only to the smart card holders.  This card will have the past purchase history of the user for that particular month.

I think its high time to start such thing otherwise the day is not far when we would be driving our expensive cars with the help of our humble Oxen and bulls.  So authorities please take the note of this humble request and devise some ways to  leave something for our future generations.  Otherswise they are going to blame us for using all the available natural resources.

WHAT IS IN A NAME ???

WHAT IS IN A NAME ?? long long back one of the greatest English author raised this important issue which attracted my attention. and there is a saying seeing is believing and I am compelled to believe that everything is in the name only. See the pace of changing the names of our cities, roads and other govt schemes. Even the poor human being are not spared from getting to change their names. The topic of present discussion is this changing the names of ladies one they decided to get married. I found this phenomena taking place in all the strata of society be it highly placed officials or the common village folks. and still we talk about the equal rights to the fair sex i.e. our Nari shakti. I was wondering that is there really a need to change the maiden or surnames of the ladies we have decided to marry. I did not find any solid reason and that is why I did not take any step to change of my better half. Before marriage she was known as Rashmi Kaushik and since I am happen to be Pankaj Kumar so I did not force her to adopt my surname and change her name to some funny looking name RASHMI KAUSHIK KUMAR OR RASHMI KUMAR. Even after marriage at all the places I write her original name and that never made our life vulnerable. So Guys those who are unmarried keep this in mind.I think someone have to take the initiative and let the ladies keep their original names which they got from their loving parents and family members.

And a request to all our female counterparts please do not change your name as it wo'nt have any legal requirement once you have all the necessary certificates of proving your marriage to any gentleman I think you no need to change your name. Or simply become some chaudhary Bhattacharya or sharma kaushik Kumar or some other funny looking name.

I am raising this issue of quite urgent nature at this platform coz I consider we are all the intellectuals here and can really understand the gravity of the situation. I invite a heated and mindblowing and brainstroming session on this issue specially would like to listen the arguments for the chaning the name and against it.

Invite all the members to share their view specially ladies married or unmarried. Pls come forward to express yourself. Its an informal platform to disccussion many more such issues.
